A completed purchase on waitforit.lol buys temporary control of the site's primary advertising placement. It begins when payment is captured and ends when another valid purchaser replaces you. We call this “owning the website” because “temporarily controlling the primary promotional surface” has the charisma of wet cardboard. You do not acquire the domain, company, equity, intellectual property, resale rights or any guaranteed duration, traffic, impressions, clicks or results.
The public falling price is the same minimum for everyone and follows the published decay formula. You may voluntarily choose a higher purchase amount. If you win, that full amount is charged and the next takeover price is calculated from it, subject to the displayed cap. Paying more does not buy guaranteed time, traffic, impressions, clicks or immunity; another buyer can still replace you immediately. Locking creates a short payment authorization. We capture only if you win the atomic takeover race. If somebody completes first, your authorization is voided and you are not charged. Replacement risk is not fine print hiding behind a fern. It is the whole product.
We may reject, suspend or replace creatives and destinations involving malware, phishing, scams, deceptive claims, illegal goods or services, impersonation, hate, extremism, explicit sexual material or material legal risk. Payment success does not mean creative approval. A rejected creative may be replaced by a neutral placement while we contact you. Deliberate abuse can forfeit the placement without refund.
Every reign is a public record. Brand name, price paid, duration, measured performance and approved creative may remain in the archive indefinitely. Do not buy on behalf of a brand you are not authorized to represent. Identity theft is not a media strategy.
We may pause or interrupt the auction for fraud review, maintenance, security or emergencies. Paused time does not decay the price. The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount of your most recent completed purchase.
We store the information required for receipts, account access, moderation, reliable statistics and payment operations. Our payment processor handles card details; we do not receive full card numbers. We do not sell personal data. Winning purchases are final even when a reign is brutally short. Losing the takeover race means the authorization is voided and you are not charged. We may refund duplicate charges, incorrect captures or service failures caused by us after review. Disliking the result, receiving fewer views than hoped or being replaced quickly is not a billing error wearing sad trousers.
